Current Ambassadors — Biographies

Renee Edwards

Renee Edwards is the Technical Services Administrator with Dallas Area Rapid Transit in Dallas, Texas.

Ms. Edwards joined DART in 2000 in the Information Technology capacity. She is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience with the last nine being in the transportation environment with certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Master Certified Novell Engineer (MCNE). She currently oversees and manages the Information Technology and Computer Aided Drafting and Design projects for the DART Light Rail Buildout. She has worked on numerous successful projects that have involved her commitment to providing practical solutions to real life challenges. Ms. Edwards is a graduate of Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. She is also an active member of the Dallas COMTO chapter and served as COMTO National’s 2009 Program Planning Chair.

TCRP is a cooperative effort of the Federal Transit Administration, the Transportation Research Board, and the Transit Development Corporation, Inc.
