Dr. B. Moore Gwynn is a recognized
professional in the area of disability
and advocacy issues. She has over 15
years of experience in disability
management covering all functional
areas from counseling to advocacy to
program management. New to the
transit industry, she serves as ADA
Coordinator at the Washington
Metropolitan Area Transit Authority
where she is involved in several
workforce initiatives. Additionally,
she serves as adjunct faculty at
Trinity University in Washington, DC.
Formerly with the D.C. Department on
Disability Services, Rehabilitation
Services Administration, she served as
a Marketing/Placement Specialist where
she created employer partnerships for
people with disabilities seeking
greater employment opportunities.
Dr. Moore Gwynn holds a Doctorate of
Education, from Morgan State
University; a Masters of Education,
from Coppin State University and an
undergraduate degree from Central
State University. She is an active
member of various organizations that
include: life-time membership of
Central State University Alumni
Association; a member of both the
Coppin State University and Morgan
State University Alumni Associations,
DC Rehabilitation Association and
Kappa Delta Pi International Honor
Society in Education.
