Mr. Horsting is Principal Planner for
the transit division of Lee County
Government in Fort Myers Florida and
has nine years of progressively
responsible public transportation
planning experience.
His B.A. in Geography and Urban
Planning is from Grand Valley State
University in Grand Rapids, Michigan
with a focus on public transportation
planning. In Lee County Mr. Horsting
oversees service planning and is
responsible for system planning and
development. His most recent duties
have been devoted to acting as project
manager for various planning studies
and initiatives including corridor
studies, strategic planning studies,
transit station location and long
range transportation plans.
