Current Ambassadors — Biographies

Yvonne M. Lyon

Mrs. Lyon is the Manager of Market Research at the Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon (TriMet). She has been in the consumer and marketing research field for nearly 30 years, working in both the private and public sector.

Mrs. Lyon joined TriMet in 1991 and was able to apply private sector research techniques to public transit issues. Throughout her years at TriMet, Mrs. Lyon created qualitative and quantitative projects dealing with a wide variety of topics focusing on customer satisfaction, security, service, vehicle design, and public opinion.

TCRP is a cooperative effort of the Federal Transit Administration, the Transportation Research Board, and the Transit Development Corporation, Inc.
